Thoughts

I'd thought about posting Asshole's sex offender pic on here or the link and then decided I wouldn't because my page is pretty and I didn't want his mug darkening my space, but please make sure you check your own sex offender registry at least a few times a year so you are aware of who lives around you so you can keep your children SAFE. And remember for every convicted sex offender, there are no telling how many who aren't convicted or caught. A lot of people teach their children about stranger danger, but most crimes are commited by the people we KNOW. Our neighbors, our family members etc. Teach your children that they can TELL even if it is your favorite uncle. :)

So much for only talkin about this junk on the weekends LOL.

Oh... Who's your favorite LOST character and why? (Question stolen from a friends sister).

I found your blog through another and have been reading it. You are so brave to tell your story!!
My oldest daughters bio father is a registered sexually violent predator.....he did horrible things to his oldest daughter...so I check the registry quite often to keep tabs on him. And all the others in my area. I go through scenarios with my kids all the time. "what if so and so stops and talks to you and wants to give you a ride....just because you have known them for your whole life does not make them a safe person". I am terrified one of my kids will be hurt or stolen. I am crazy vigilant about it.

24/7, I love Sawyer. I love his bad attitude. Imagine that LoL.

Melissa, It's so nice to meet you. I'm sorry to hear your daughter's father. I hope your family is able to heal and thank you so much for the kind words.

Thanks Babs!
My daughter knows nothing about her bio-father. Thankfully! My husband is the only father she knows so she is not affected by what BF did to her half sister(who she also knows nothing about). It's sad that it is this way, but I don't feel my 8 year old daughter needs to know these details.
